Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of Labuchat Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) and its members, and set forth other necessary matters in connection with the use of the Company’s 1:1 voice communication service and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. “Service” means Labuchat and all related services that members may use regardless of the type of device (PC, mobile device, etc.).
  2. “Member” means a customer who enters into a service agreement with the Company in accordance with these Terms and uses the Service provided by the Company.
  3. “Points” means virtual currency within the Service that can be obtained by using the Service (e.g., connecting calls) or through character activities.
  4. “Partner (Creator)” means a member who creates a character within the Service, provides call services to other members to earn Points, and receives settlement payments for those Points.

Chapter 2 Formation of the Service Agreement

Article 4 (Formation of the Service Agreement and Use Restrictions)

  1. The service agreement is formed when a person who wishes to become a member (the “Applicant”) agrees to these Terms, submits a membership registration application, and the Company accepts such application.
  2. The Service is available only to adults aged 19 or older. Minors under the age of 19 are prohibited from registering and using the Service. The Company may refuse an application if the Applicant is a minor, or may terminate the service agreement immediately if this is discovered afterward.
  3. For identity verification and adult verification, the Company may request real-name verification and identity authentication through specialized institutions.
  4. A member who registers by misappropriating another person’s personal information is not entitled to legal protection and bears civil and criminal liability arising therefrom.

Chapter 3 Data Policy and Rights Attribution

Article 5 (Monitoring and Recording for a Safe Communication Environment)

  1. To promote a healthy communication culture, prevent illegal acts such as sexual harassment, abusive language, and fraud, or to secure evidence to protect members in the event of a dispute, the Company may record 1:1 voice conversations between members and store them in encrypted form.
  2. Recorded data may be accessed and listened to only by authorized personnel, and only when there is a clear safety-monitoring purpose, such as receiving a report, requesting an explanation, or responding to a lawful cooperation request from investigative authorities.
