Labuchat Inc. (hereinafter, the “Company”) complies with applicable laws and regulations, including the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. (the “Network Act”) and the Personal Information Protection Act (the “PIPA”). In order to protect members’ personal information and to promptly and smoothly handle related complaints, the Company hereby establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy as follows.
The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information being processed will not be used for purposes other than those stated below. If the purpose of use changes, the Company will take necessary measures, such as obtaining separate consent.
Member Registration and Management:
To verify the intent to sign up, identify and authenticate users for membership services, restrict registration of minors under the age of 19 (adult verification), maintain and manage membership status, prevent fraudulent use, provide notices and notifications, and handle complaints.
Service Provision and Payment Processing:
To provide 1:1 voice communication services, process purchases and payments for paid services, and settle partner (creator) revenue and file related tax reports.
Creating a Safe Communication Environment:
To prevent illegal acts (e.g., sexual harassment, abusive language, fraud) and violations of the Terms of Service, sanction malicious users, and verify facts and secure evidence in the event of disputes between members, the Company records and stores call content. Such voice data is not used for biometric identification purposes such as identity verification.
New Service Development and Data Utilization:
To train AI for developing new services/features, conduct statistical analysis, produce promotional content (e.g., short-form videos) through de-identification (alteration) processing of voice data, build training datasets for developing AI and humanoid technologies, and provide event information and participation opportunities.
The Company collects the minimum personal information necessary to provide its services.
